The MANTAIR™
packaged sewage treatment plant can be installed where mains drainage
is not available. The MANTAIR™ plant provides a discreet, reliable and
cost effective solution to sewage treatment for domestic dwellings and
small scale commercial and industrial premises.
The MANTAIR™ plant is a low maintenance
single tank system which incorporates the long established principle of
'activated sludge'. The aeration of waste sewage encourages the growth
of aerobic bacteria which degrades the polluting matter. This produces
an effluent which complies with the requirements of the Environment
Agency for England and wales and Scottish Enviroment protection Agency for discharged directly into a
natural watercourse.

How Does It Work?
The MANTAIR™ plant is powered by a small air blower, which can be
located in either an existing outbuilding or in a 'Beehive' – a purpose
built blower housing designed to blend into the natural setting.
The blower can be located up to 25 metres
from the MANTAIR™ plant and is powered by domestic 240v electrical
supply. It is a connected to the plant by a small bore MDPE pipe
concealed underground. The blower provides the air that is required for
the treatment process and to lift the treated effluent to the discharge
point.
Installation & Commissioning
The first stage is the installation of the tank. This can be carried
out by ourselves or by an alternative contactor. The second stage is
the installation of the air blower and connection of the air main to
the MANTAIR™ tank.
Finally our operatives commission the plant, to ensure optimum operational effectiveness of your MANTAIR™ plant.

Maintenance
The
Mantair™ treatment plant is simpler to maintain then most other
treatment plants as there are not electrical, mechanical or moving
parts within the underground treatment zone.
